The first regular radio broadcast, in this time era – on Earth, from a radio company was made on November 6, 1919. It was the Dutch company “Nederlandsche Radio-Industrie” that carried it out, and it took place via the radio channel “PCGG”, in Haag, in Netherlands. The owner of the company and the radio channel was engineer Hanzo Idzerda (1885 – 1944).

The Dutch company “Nederlandsche Radio-Industrie” manufactured both radio transmitters and receivers. Their popular program was broadcast 4 nights a week, using narrow-band FM transmissions on 670 metres (448 kHz), until 1924 when the company ran into financial difficulties.
Their first radio broadcast, which took place on 6 Nov. 1919, lasted for about 3 hours, from 8 to 11 pm. It contained mainly pieces of music from musicals (operettas), interpreted from their radio program announced the 5th Nov. 1919 in “Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant”, the day before the broadcast.
